INVISALIGN
transer training

If you are like many adults, you wish for straighter teeth, but don’t want the hassle and appearance of traditional braces.

Invisalign may be the answer!  Two huge advantages exist over conventional braces. The retainers are not worn while eating, brushing or flossing, and they are virtually invisible.  sacred logoAsk us if you may be a candidate for straightening with Invisalign!

IN HOUSE TRAINING

transer trainingOn Tuesday, July 11th the Doctors and Staff participated in an in-house training session with Jean Glanzman, OTR of the Partners in Health, Occupational Health and Medicine at Sacred Heart Hospital. Our training was to improve our care for our patients that need transferring from a wheel chair to the dental chair, comfortably and carefully. We all came away with a new appreciation of the care and professionalism that our nurses and health care providers have in assisting patients with these special needs.

Hillside Dental Staff participated in the national Give Kids a Smile day held February 6 at CVTC. Dentists, hygienists and dental assistants from around the Chippewa Valley donated their time to clean teeth, take x-rays, and perform other dental treatment at no cost. Approximately 150 children were seen that day. Give Kids a Smile is a nationwide effort, spearheaded by the American Dental Association. Across the state the event drew more than 280 dentists and hundreds of hygienists and dental assistants to provide free oral health care services to 2,800 low income children. Hillsides Dr. Lonnette Breneman coordinated the local event.

Remarkable Relief from Tension Headaches

Does your jaw ache? Are your teeth sore and sensitive? Have frequent, recurring tension or morning headaches or a stiff neck in the morning? The NTI-tss Tension Suppression System could give you relief: simply, quickly. This small, clear-plastic device, only worn at night, fits over your two front teeth. It makes clenching nearly impossible!

Within a few days or weeks (sometimes just hours), your clenching reflex is suppressed. The pain associated with your involuntary, intense clenching usually begins to resolve and disappear. The NTI-tss does this by keeping your back teeth apart keeping the temporalis muscles from contracting with their usual intensity. Imagine being FREE of the over-the-counter (or prescription) pain medication you are using now to relieve this nagging problem. Can the NTI help you? Call to schedule a dental health exam - 715-834-6603.
